Go East Travel (“Go East”, “we”) runs the Go East CRM and the Meta app “Go East Yuli”, which connects WhatsApp Business numbers to our CRM. This page explains how to ask us to delete your data.

Who this page is for

  • Travellers who contacted Go East on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram or through our websites.
  • Businesses and consultants who connected a WhatsApp Business number to our CRM through Meta’s Embedded Signup.

What we can delete

  • Your contact details (name, phone number, email).
  • Messages and files you exchanged with us that are stored in our CRM.
  • Trip planning details you gave us.
  • For a connected WhatsApp Business number: the connection details we store (WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID and access token), and the messages and contacts synced from that number.

How to ask for deletion

  1. Email support@goeasttravel.com with the subject “Data deletion request”.
  2. Write your full name and the phone number or email you used to contact us. For a business, write the WhatsApp number that was connected.
  3. We may ask you to confirm the request from the same phone number or email, so we delete only the data of the person who asked.

What happens next

  • We confirm that we received your request within 7 days.
  • We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.
  • Records we must keep by law, such as invoices and accounting records, are kept only for the period the law requires and only for that purpose, and are deleted when it ends.

Disconnecting a WhatsApp Business number

A business can disconnect its number from our app at any time, in the WhatsApp Business app or in its Meta business settings. From that moment we no longer receive its messages. To delete the data we already stored, send a request as described above.

Messages on WhatsApp itself

Deleting data from our systems does not delete messages on your own phone or on WhatsApp’s or Meta’s servers. Meta handles that data under its own privacy policy.
