GO EAST plans tailor-made travel across the East. Every trip we book is looked after by a named consultant and run with our people on the ground (dedicated local offices in Vietnam and India, our team in Japan, and local representatives in the Philippines and across Asia), which is the part most companies outsource and we do not.
How a trip actually works
You tell us roughly what you want, and for $39 we build you a trip plan with real hotels and real timings: the outline first, two rounds of changes, then every day in detail in your trip app. If you want us to book it, a consultant prices it in a free, no-obligation quote, and the $39 is credited in full. At departure we open a WhatsApp group with your consultant and the local representatives at the destination, and it stays open until you are home.
Specialists, not generalists
Nobody here sells the whole world. Each consultant owns a small number of countries and knows them properly, and most of the team are graduates of East Asian studies programmes. When you ask about Japan you are talking to someone who has been to every corner of it, and when you ask about Korea you are talking to the person who owns Korea.
Why we say the unhelpful thing
Every one of our guides has a section on what we would skip. A famous sight that eats a day and gives back an hour is worth saying out loud, and a company that never tells you that is selling, not advising. Trust is the product.

Answer a short questionnaire and within 24 hours, usually sooner, you get the outline of your trip: the route day by day and the hotels we suggest for each stop. Tell us what to change (two rounds included), then we build your full day-by-day plan inside a trip app with maps, navigation links, and trains and transfers step by step. Then, if you want, a free quote for ground services, and you choose what to take.
